Reasons Why You Shouldn’t Get an iPad
As much as we love using our iPads, there are reasons why people may want to reconsider purchasing one. Here are a few reasons why you might want to hold off on buying one:
1. Limited capabilities: While the iPad is a great device for browsing the internet, watching videos, and playing games, it has limited capabilities when compared to a laptop or desktop computer. If you are someone who needs to use specific software or applications for work or school, then an iPad may not be the best option for you.
2. Expensive: iPads can be expensive, and the cost can add up if you want to add extra storage or get the cellular model. For those on a tight budget, a more affordable tablet may be a better option.
3. Not suitable for heavy workloads: While the iPad Pro does have a lot of power, it still cannot handle the same workload as a laptop or desktop computer. If you need to do a lot of graphic design or video editing, you may be better off investing in a more capable device.
4. Limited battery life: While the iPad has a decent battery life, it still doesn’t compare to the battery life of a laptop or desktop computer. If you need to use your device for extended periods of time, you may need to keep it plugged in or invest in a power bank.
5. Limited storage: Although iPads come in different storage sizes, they can quickly fill up, especially if you enjoy taking photos and videos or using many apps. This means you may need to frequently delete files or purchase additional cloud storage.
6. Not suitable for typing: While the on-screen keyboard is fine for short emails or messages, it can be tiring to type on for extended periods of time. If typing is a crucial part of your work, you may need to invest in a keyboard accessory.
