How to Move the iPhone Safari Search Bar Back to the Top in iOS
Have you ever found yourself scrolling all the way to the bottom of your Safari browser window just to find the search bar on your iPhone? If so, you’re not alone. Apple’s recent iOS updates moved the Safari search bar from the top of the screen to the bottom, making it harder to access. But don’t worry, there is an easy way to move it back to the top.
Here’s how:
1. Open Safari: Launch the Safari app on your iPhone.
2. Tap on the “Tabs” button: In the bottom right corner of the screen, tap on the button with two squares to view all your open tabs.
3. Long-press on the search bar: Once you’re in the tabs view, long-press on the search bar located at the bottom of the screen.
4. Tap on “Move to Top”: After long-pressing on the search bar, you’ll see a pop-up menu appear with two options: “Copy” and “Move to Top.” Tap on “Move to Top” to move the search bar back to its original position at the top of the screen.
5. Close Safari: Once you’ve moved the search bar back to the top, you can simply close out of the tabs view by tapping on the “x” in the top left corner.
