How to Delete Your Incognito Mode History and Protect Your Privacy
If you are someone who values their privacy while browsing the internet, chances are you’ve used the Incognito Mode feature in your web browser. The Incognito Mode is a feature that allows you to browse without leaving traces on your device, like cookies, search history, and form data. However, it’s essential to note that this feature only hides your browsing activity from other users of your device, and your internet service provider (ISP) can still see your activity. If you want to delete your Incognito Mode history and protect your privacy, here is a guide on how to do it.
Step 1: Open your browser
The first step to deleting your Incognito Mode history is to open your browser. Depending on the browser you’re using, you should either look for a three-dot menu, three-line menu, or the word “Menu” to the right of the search bar.
Once you’ve opened your browser, find the option for turning on Incognito Mode. For Chrome and Firefox, this option is located in the menu. For Safari, click on File and select New Private Window.
Step 3: Delete your Incognito Mode History
To delete your Incognito Mode history, click on the three-dot menu or three-line menu and select “History” from the menu. Once the history tab opens, look for “Clear browsing data” and click on it.
Select a time range for which you want to delete your browsing history, and make sure you include the option for “Browsing history” or “History.”
Once you’ve selected everything you want to delete, click on “Clear data,” and that’s it. Your Incognito Mode history is now deleted, and you can browse without leaving traces on your device.
