Finding Your Perspective

I’m not suggesting it’s simple, but it’s also not difficult. When I’m in this situation, I prefer to go out of the office and spend some time in one of my preferred parks. The reason is that I’ve always felt that being in nature has relaxed my thoughts since my childhood. I start looking at the situation from as many aspects as I can figure out after I am focused, and most of the time, I find a clear answer to the problem.

Although 90% of the solutions are not bad, these are also not perfect. When I can’t come up with a definite answer on my own, I consult with some of my most trusted advisors. I’m sure their opinion is honest because they are far from the problem. I can pinpoint a solution to the situation after talking with a number of them. It’s now time to carry out my strategy.

Seeing things from a different perspective is a valuable leadership skill. It enables us to separate the possible advantages and disadvantages of a scenario or to choose the best solution to an issue. It allows us to make even the most difficult choices appear simple. One thing is sure: without the potential of divine perspective, you cannot be a strong educational leader.
