Google Classroom Tip #4: After School Program Management
Back when I was a teacher, I worked for an after school program that was plagued by mismanagement and communication issues. The administration seemed overwhelmed and unable to troubleshoot the problem. After about year, and seeing my suggestions disregarded, I left, as its hard for me to deal with incompetence.
I wish we would have had Google Classroom back then. To deal with communication issues, teachers and administrators today can create a Google Classroom for after-school programs to keep group members informed. And by groups members, I mean teachers, assistants, administrators, students, and parents.
As a bonus, you can also use it as a virtual classroom that allows afterschool students to submit assignments, teachers to teach, administrators to manage, and parents to stay in the loop.
