Google Classroom Tip #3: Add and Pass Activities

Are you a teacher in search of interactive reading activities for your students? Well, you are in luck, as I have one to share. I call it “add or pass.” Start with a sentence or a story starter. Instruct each student to add to the story on a collaborative Doc or Slide. Remember to give all of your students permission to do so.
Then sit back and watch the group intelligence and creativity manifest. At the end of the project, edit it and then print each student a copy of the story. This activity builds critical thinking, literacy, and collaborative skills. All of that from one simple digital activity.
