Storage Area Network Certificate or SAN Certificate is a digital certificate which is used for securing the communication that happens between various devices or hosts in a Storage Area Network (SAN). A SAN is a special network that connects computers or servers to storage devices such as disks, tapes, or other media. A SAN Certificate provides an encrypted way of communicating between the different devices connected to a SAN.
