How to View Your Archived Posts on Instagram
Instagram is one of the most popular social media platforms in the world, and it’s easy to understand why. With its visually-oriented interface, easy-to-use features, and widespread use across all age groups, it’s a great platform to share your life with friends and followers. However, with a constantly changing feed and new posts appearing every minute, it can be hard to keep track of all the content you’ve posted in the past.
Fortunately, Instagram has a feature that allows users to archive their posts. This means that you can remove a post from your profile without actually deleting it, so that you can still access it later if you wish. But how do you view these archived posts? Here’s a simple guide.
- Open the Instagram app on your smartphone or tablet.
- Tap the profile button in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.
- Once you are on your profile page, tap the three horizontal lines in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
- From the dropdown menu, select “Archive.”
- All of your archived posts will be displayed in chronological order, from most recent to oldest. You can swipe left or right to view each post.
- If you want to unarchive a post and have it appear on your profile again, simply open the post and tap the three dots in the top right-hand corner of the screen. From the dropdown menu, select “Show on Profile.”
It’s important to note that archived posts are only visible to you; they are not visible to anyone else, including your followers. This feature is great for decluttering your profile, hiding posts that may no longer be relevant or have low engagement, or simply keeping your older content organized and easy to access.
