Google Photos is a popular cloud-based photo storage and sharing service that allows you to store and access your photos and videos from any device. However, if you want to delete your photos from Google Photos, it’s a straightforward process. Here’s how to do it:
Step 1: Open Google Photos
Open the Google Photos app on your Android or iOS device or go to photos.google.com on your desktop.
Step 2: Select the Photos You Want to Delete
Select the photos you want to delete by tapping on them. You can select multiple photos by tapping and holding on the first photo and then tapping on the other photos you want to select.
Step 3: Delete the Photos
Once you have selected the photos you want to delete, tap on the trash icon in the upper right corner of the screen. You will be prompted to confirm the deletion. Tap on “Delete” to confirm.
Step 4: Permanently Delete Photos
Deleted photos are moved to the trash folder, where they will remain for 60 days. If you want to permanently delete them before the 60 days are up, follow these steps:
1. Open the Google Photos app or go to photos.google.com.
2. Tap on the three lines in the upper left corner of the screen.
3. Tap on “Trash.”
4. Select the photos you want to permanently delete.
5. Tap on the three dots in the upper right corner of the screen.
6. Tap on “Delete forever.”
7. Confirm the deletion.
And that’s it! Your photos will be permanently deleted from Google Photos. Keep in mind that once you delete your photos, you won’t be able to recover them, so make sure you have a backup before deleting them.
