Is Your Phone Display Flickering? Try These Fixes
Have you ever experienced a flickering display on your phone? It can be an annoying issue that affects your usage and causes unnecessary strain on your eyes. If your phone display is flickering, there are a few things you can try to fix the problem.
- Adjust Your Display Settings
The first thing to try when you notice your phone display flickering is to adjust your display settings. It is possible that your phone’s display settings are set too high, causing the screen to flicker. Go to the phone’s settings and choose “display” to adjust the brightness, contrast, and color settings of your display. Try lowering the brightness and see if the flickering stops.
- Restart Your Phone
Sometimes, the simplest solution is the best. Restarting your phone can solve many display problems, including flickering. If you are using an iPhone, press and hold the side button until the power off slider appears. Swipe the slider to the right to turn off your phone. If you are using an Android phone, press and hold the power button until the power off or reboot option appears. Choose “Power off” and wait for your phone to turn off. After a few seconds, turn on your phone and see if the flickering is gone.
- Update Your Phone’s Software
If your phone’s software is outdated, it can cause various display problems, including flickering. Check for software updates under the phone’s settings and install any available updates. This can fix any software bugs causing your phone display to flicker.
- Check for Third-Party Apps
Third-party apps installed on your phone can also cause display problems. Uninstall any recently installed apps, especially those related to screen customization, and see if the flickering stops. If you suspect a particular app is causing the issue, try running your phone in safe mode. Safe mode disables all third-party apps, allowing you to determine if any of the apps is causing the problem.
