How to Use Multiple Desktops in Windows
As our activities on computers have become more complex, the need for multiple desktops has increased. Multitasking can be overwhelming, with several windows showing different tabs, tasks, programs, and files. Below are some steps on how to use Multiple Desktops in Windows:
Step 1: Open Task View
To open Task View, click the Task View button located on the taskbar or press the Windows key + Tab.
Step 2: Create a New Desktop
Create a new desktop by clicking the New desktop button located in the bottom right corner of the screen. Alternatively, use the Windows key + Ctrl + D hotkeys to create a new desktop.
Step 3: Switch to Another Desktop

To move windows between desktops, select the window that you want to move, click and hold it, and then drag it to the desktop you want to move it to either in the Task View or press the Windows key + Tab.
Step 5: Close Desktops
To close a desktop, enter Task View mode and hover over the desktop you want to close. Then, click the X button that appears in the top-right corner.
