As iCloud Keychain is an Apple product, one would think that it can only be used with Apple devices. However, with a little bit of effort, you can use iCloud Keychain on your Windows PC as well. Here’s how to use iCloud Keychain on Windows:

1. Install iCloud for Windows:

iCloud for Windows allows you to access your iCloud data on your PC. Download and install it from the iCloud website.

2. Sign in to iCloud on your PC:

Once you have installed iCloud for Windows, sign in to iCloud using your Apple ID and password.

3. Turn on iCloud Keychain:

In the iCloud for Windows app, click on the checkbox next to iCloud Keychain to turn it on. You may be prompted to enter your Apple ID password again.

4. Enabling autofill on your browser:

To use iCloud Keychain to autofill your login information in your browser, you need to enable it. In Internet Explorer, go to Settings > Internet Options > Content > Settings > Manage Add-ons > and select iCloud Keychain. In Chrome, go to Settings > Autofill > Passwords and turn on “Offer to save passwords”.

5. Access your iCloud Keychain passwords:

You can access all your iCloud Keychain passwords on your PC by opening iCloud for Windows and clicking on the “Passwords” section. You will be asked to enter your Apple ID password again.

Using iCloud Keychain on Windows may not be as straightforward as it is on Apple devices, but it does the job. With iCloud Keychain, you can store all your login information securely and access it on any device that supports it.
