How to Turn Off Mouse Acceleration in Windows 10 & 11

Method 1: Using the Mouse Properties
1. Click on the Start icon on the bottom left of the taskbar.
2. Type “Mouse” in the search bar and hit Enter.
3. Click on “Additional mouse options”.
4. Click on the “Pointer Options” tab.
5. Under the “Motion” section, uncheck “Enhance pointer precision”.
6. Click on “Apply” and then “OK”.
Method 2: Using the Registry Editor
1. Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box.
2. In the Run dialog box, type “regedit” and hit Enter.
3. In the Registry Editor, navigate to the following location:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Mouse
4. Find the entry titled “MouseSensitivity”.
5. Right-click the entry, select “Modify” and change the value data to “0”.
6. Click on “OK” to save the changes.
Restart your computer for the changes to take effect.
