To star a message in Gmail, simply open the email you want to star and click on the star icon in the top right corner of the message. The star will turn yellow, indicating that the message has been starred.
If you want to remove the star from a message, simply click on the star icon again and it will turn white, indicating that the message is no longer starred.
Gmail also allows you to use different types of stars to categorize your messages. To access these options, click on the gear icon in the top right corner of your inbox and select “Settings.” From there, click on the “General” tab and scroll down to “Stars.” Here, you can select different types of stars to use in your inbox.
To use a different type of star, simply click on the star icon multiple times until you find the one you want to use. You can also drag and drop stars to reorder them.
In addition to starring messages, Gmail also allows you to create labels to categorize your emails. To create a label, simply click on the “Labels” icon on the left side of your inbox and select “Create new label.” From there, you can name your label and choose a color to help differentiate it from other labels.
Once you have created a label, you can apply it to any message by clicking on the “Labels” icon above the message and selecting the label you want to apply.
