How to Set Up an Alarm on Fitbit
If you own a Fitbit, you may not know that you can use it to set alarms. This feature can be very useful for waking up in the morning, reminding you to take medication, or even reminding you to get up and move around if you’ve been sitting for too long. Here’s how to set up an alarm on your Fitbit:
- Open the Fitbit app on your smartphone or tablet.
- Tap the “Account” icon in the lower right-hand corner of the screen.
- Tap the “Fitbit device” you want to set up an alarm on.
- Scroll down and tap “Silent Alarms.”
- Tap “Add New Alarm.”
- Set the time you want the alarm to go off by scrolling through the hours and minutes.
- Choose the days you want the alarm to go off on by tapping the checkboxes next to the days of the week.
- Choose the alarm type by tapping “Sound” or “Vibration” (or both).
- Tap “Save” to save your new alarm.
That’s it! Your Fitbit will now wake you up or remind you of important tasks with a gentle vibration or sound (depending on your settings). You can also edit or delete alarms at any time by going back to the “Silent Alarms” section in the Fitbit app.
Note: The alarm feature is available on most Fitbit devices, including the Fitbit Alta, Charge, Versa, and Ionic. However, some older models may not have this feature.
