How to See Your Netflix Viewing Activity
Netflix has quickly become one of the most popular streaming platforms for millions of people across the globe. Whether you’re a movie buff or a TV show fanatic, Netflix offers a vast library of content that caters to all preferences. With the streaming platform’s personalized recommendation algorithm, you’re sure to discover new content that meets your interests. However, have you ever found yourself wondering about what you’ve watched on Netflix? Perhaps you want to track your viewing activity, gain insight into your binge-watching tendencies, or manage your account’s privacy settings. Luckily, Netflix offers a viewing activity feature that enables you to do just that. Here’s how you can see your Netflix viewing activity.
Step 1: Log into Your Netflix Account
The first step in viewing your Netflix activity involves logging into your account. Open your preferred web browser and navigate to the Netflix website. Enter your email address and password to sign in to your account.
Step 2: Go to Your Account
Once you’re logged in to your account, click on the ‘Avatar’ icon located in the top right-hand corner of the website. A drop-down menu will appear, and you should select the ‘Account’ option from this menu.
Step 3: Access Viewing Activity
After selecting the account option, you’ll be redirected to your account settings. Scroll down, and you’ll find a section titled ‘My Profile.’ Click on the ‘Viewing activity’ option under this section.
Step 4: Check Your Viewing History
Once you’ve accessed your viewing activity, you’ll see a list of titles that you’ve watched. The titles will appear in chronological order, with the most recently watched at the top of the list. You can sort the list by date watched, title, or rating.
Step 5: Manage Your Viewing Activity
If you want to remove any titles from your viewing activity, look for the ‘Hide’ icon next to the title. Clicking on this icon will remove the title from your viewing history. Additionally, you can delete your entire viewing activity by clicking on the ‘Hide all’ option on the top right-hand corner of the screen.
Step 6: Protect Your Privacy Settings
If you value your privacy, Netflix offers an option to hide your viewing activity from others who share the account. To enable this feature, select the ‘Manage Profiles’ option from your account settings. Click on the pencil icon next to the profile you want to edit, and under the ‘Viewing restrictions’ option, select ‘Only show movies and TV shows I’ve rated.’ This will prevent others from accessing your viewing history.
