How to Remove the Login Password on Windows 11
In today’s world of technology, the password has become an integral part of our daily life. Every device that we use, whether it’s a computer or a mobile phone, requires a password to provide access. The same is the case with Windows 11. The moment we turn on our computer, Windows 11 asks us to enter a password. However, if you’re the only user of the computer and want to get rid of the login password on Windows 11, you can do it easily. In this article, we’ll guide you on how to remove the login password on Windows 11.
Step One: Open the ‘Settings’ App
To remove the login password on Windows 11, you need to open the ‘Settings’ app. You can launch it by clicking on the Start menu, or you can press the Windows key + I to open the Settings app.
Step Two: Navigate to the Sign-in Options
In the Settings app, go to the ‘Accounts’ section and select ‘Sign-in options’ from the left-hand side menu. Here you’ll see various sign-in options, including passwords, PINs, and biometrics.
Step Three: Disable Password
Under the ‘Password’ section, click on the ‘Change’ button. Windows will ask you to enter your current password. After successfully entering the password, another window will appear.
In this new window, you’ll see an option to ‘Require sign-in.’ Under this option, choose ‘Never,’ and you’re done. Your computer will no longer ask you to enter a password every time you turn it on.
