How to Remotely Control Your Android Phone From a PC
As technology continues to evolve, the need to remotely control Android phones from personal computers has become increasingly important. This could be either for personal or professional reasons. Remote control enables users to effectively manage their Android devices at the comfort of their PCs without having to physically interact with the phone.
Here are some steps to follow to remotely control your Android phone from a PC.
Step 1: Check that your Android device has remote control compatibility
Before proceeding with the remote control process, ensure that your Android phone is compatible with remote control operations. Look up the required specifications for remote control compatibility online or in the user manual.
Step 2: Download and install a remote control software
Numerous remote control software tools are available, but the most commonly used is Vysor. To use this software, users need to download and install the Vysor app on their Android phone and also install the Vysor extension on their Google Chrome browser.
Step 3: Connect your phone to your PC
Once the Vysor app and Chrome extension have been installed, a USB connector can be used to connect the Android device to the PC. Once connected, launch the Vysor app on your phone and then click on the “Find Devices” option on the Vysor extension on the Chrome browser.
Step 4: Grant authorization
A pop-up requesting for authorization will appear on the Android device. Grant authorization and the Vysor software will start running, allowing you to remotely control your Android phone from the PC.
Step 5: Remote control operations
At this point, the entire Android device will be displayed on the PC screen. You can control the device using your mouse and keyboard. With your PC keyboard, you can type in text messages while using your mouse to navigate your Android phone.
