How to Get Google Search Results by Date
Search engines have become a crucial tool for performing research and finding information online. However, with so much content available on the internet, finding the most current and relevant results can be challenging. Fortunately, Google offers a feature that allows users to narrow down their search results by date.
Getting Google search results by date is a useful method for staying up-to-date on current events, researching recent developments in a particular field, or finding the latest blog posts or news articles. Here’s how you can do it:
Step 1: Go to Google.com
The first step to getting search results by date on Google is to navigate to the Google homepage, which can be found at google.com.
Step 2: Type in your search query
Once you have reached the Google homepage, type in your search query into the search bar. For example, if you are looking for news articles on the COVID-19 pandemic, you might type in “COVID-19 news.”
Step 3: Click on “Tools”
After entering your search query, you will see a list of search results. To narrow down your results by date, click on the “Tools” button located at the top of the page.
Step 4: Select “Any Time” under “Tools”
After clicking on “Tools,” you will see a drop-down menu with different time periods. The default setting is “Any Time,” which means Google will display search results from any time period. To access search results by date, select a specific time period from the drop-down menu. For example, if you are looking for the most recent news articles, you might select “Past month.”
Step 5: Click on “Custom Range”
If you want to choose a specific date range, click on the “Custom Range” option at the bottom of the drop-down menu. This option allows you to choose a specific date range for your search query.
Step 6: Enter your desired date range
After clicking on “Custom Range,” a calendar will appear where you can select the start and end dates for your search query. Once you have chosen your desired date range, click “Go” to see the search results.
