How to Create a OneNote Calendar Template
As a busy individual, it’s important to stay on top of your schedule. OneNote, a note-taking app by Microsoft, offers a customizable calendar template that can help you manage your everyday tasks more efficiently. In this article, we’ll help you create your own OneNote Calendar Template.
Step 1: Open OneNote
The first step is to open OneNote. If you don’t have the app, you can download it from Microsoft’s website or your app store.
Step 2: Create a new page
Once OneNote is open, click on “New Page” to create a new page in your notebook.
Step 3: Create a table
On the new page, create a table by clicking on “Table” in the top menu bar and selecting “Insert Table.” The number of rows and columns will depend on your preference and the amount of information you want to include on your calendar template.
Step 4: Add dates and days of the week
In the first row of the table, add the dates of the month you want to include on your calendar. In the second row, add the corresponding days of the week (e.g. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday). You can also add a row for a header to label the month and year.
Step 5: Customize your template
Now that you have the basic structure of your template, you can customize it to suit your needs. You can add colors and shading to highlight holidays or important events, add text boxes to provide additional details such as deadlines or appointments, or create separate tables for different aspects of your schedule (e.g. work, personal, school).
Step 6: Save your template
Once you’re happy with your calendar template, save it for future use. Click on “File” and select “Save As” to save it in your notebook or on your computer.
Step 7: Use your calendar template
Now that your template is saved, it’s time to start using it to organize your schedule. You can add new events by clicking on the corresponding date in the table and typing in your event details. You can also drag and drop events to different dates as needed.
