How to Completely Remove a Book From Your Kindle Library
If you’re a Kindle user who’s tired of cluttering up your library with books that you just weren’t that into, or perhaps one you wish you never purchased, it’s incredibly easy to completely remove books from your Kindle library.
Here’s how to do it:
1. Go to the Amazon website on a web browser and sign in with your Amazon account.
2. Navigate to “Your Content and Devices.” From there, you’ll see all of the books in your Kindle library.
3. Find the book that you want to remove from your library. Click on the three dots on the left side of the title of the book.
4. Click the “Delete” button. Confirm your choice by clicking “Yes, delete permanently.”
5. Once you’ve completed these steps, the book will be removed from your Kindle library, and it will no longer appear on any of the connected devices.
Note: this process also applies to any audiobooks or other digital content you may have purchased from Amazon.
It’s worth noting, however, that if you purchased a book and haven’t read it yet, it may be worth returning it for a refund rather than simply deleting it. You may also want to consider creating a separate collection of books that you are unsure about or that you may want to read eventually.
Regardless, with a few simple steps, you can easily clear out any unwanted books from your Kindle library, making it easier to navigate and find the books that you truly enjoy.
