TikTok is one of the most popular social media platforms out there today. With millions of active users, it has become an ideal place to showcase your creativity and share your videos with the world. One of the ways to make your TikTok videos stand out is by adding text to them. In this article, we will walk you through the steps on How to Add Text to TikTok Videos.

Step 1: Open TikTok App

The first step is to open the TikTok app on your device.

Step 2: Record or Select a Video

After opening the app, you can either record a new video or select an existing video from your gallery. To record a new video, tap on the plus icon located at the bottom of your screen, and then tap on the record button. To select an existing video, tap on the upload button which is also located at the bottom of your screen.

Step 3: Tap on “Text”

Once you have recorded or selected your video, you need to tap on the “Text” button located at the bottom of your screen. It’s the second icon from the left.

Step 4: Add Text

After tapping on the “Text” button, you can enter the text you want to add to your video. You can also customize the font style, color, and size. Tap on the “Done” button once you are satisfied with your text.

Step 5: Adjust Text Placement

To adjust the placement of your text, simply drag it wherever you want it to appear in your video. You can also pinch and zoom to resize your text.

Step 6: Adjust Text Duration

Once you’ve placed your text where you want it in your video, tap on the text again. This will bring up the text editing menu from where you can adjust the duration of your text. You can add a starting and ending timer to your text to control when it appears and disappears.

Step 7: Save and/or Share

After adjusting the duration of your text, you can save and/or share your video on TikTok. To save your video, tap on the “Save” button located at the bottom right corner of your screen. To share your video, tap on the “Next” button which will give you several options to share your video.
