Great Education Leaders are Sensible
Many people will support your judgments if they are reasonable. They will hate your leadership if they perceive your actions, such as promotions or work allocations, as discriminatory and may submit a complaint with your superiors or Human Resources. That is why great education managers make impartial, rational, and sound judgments.
Becoming More Sensible
How are you going to do it? Take a step back and consider what plan of action you are heading towards while making any choice. What prompted you to make that decision? Is it in the company’s best interests or benefit all parties involved? Or is it built on your sentiments (good or bad) towards a person, organization, school, or department?
If the latter is the case, you must check your ego and acknowledge that you demonstrate weak leadership qualities. You are treating yourself and your ego rather than others. Great leaders make the best decision possible, even if it includes supporting or advancing a competitor. What concerns the most is that this individual provides the best possibility for the leadership team to succeed. So, please favor yourself and make wise decisions. You will see a change in the long run.
A Little Homework
If you perceive yourself to be a reasonable person, improve your skill in the weeks ahead. What do you observe in your interpersonal interactions as time goes on? Do they seem to be treating you differently but positively? This is most likely because they begin to see another dimension of you, which causes them to reconsider their initial evaluation of your leadership.
Now that your level of maturity is increasing, you offer your friends and colleagues the perception that you will make solid, unbiased judgments in any scenario, which increases their reliance on you. As you become more responsible, your connections have now been enhanced.
