Google Classroom Tip # 14: Birthday Wall
Design a birthday wall in Google Docs or Google Drawings. Update the wall each month and upload to Classroom to celebrate student birthdays. I know that this may seem like a simple, forgettable tip, but it’s not.
We need to celebrate our students birthdays because it strengthens the relationship between student and teacher and also between students and their peers. It signals that everyone is important, and their life is worthy of celebration. We also need to remember that for a child to allow you to teach them, they must trust you.
